For the design of the “Am Irrgarten” playground in Hamburg-Harburg, the landscape architecture firm Naumann developed a concept that creatively combines science and play. Inspired by the theme of outer space, areas were created that make the solar system a playful experience and invite children to explore.
Central elements such as a rocket as a climbing and sliding frame as well as themed play hills characterize the area. The square is complemented by colorful seating and play platforms from the TILL series, which were specially developed for children and schools. A large seating platform with a tree cut-out serves as a central resting and meeting place under a shady magnolia tree. A medium-sized play platform and a small sand baking table offer space for creative play.
The products in the TILL range impress with their sturdy stainless steel construction and the weatherproof, easy-care HPL surface. The inwardly offset, round steel feet give the pedestals their floating character. With individually adaptable shapes, sizes and colors, the objects blend harmoniously into the design and create characterful spaces that invite children to play and linger. The combination of functional play areas, themed design and high-quality design objects creates a unique playground that not only delights children but also adults.
